Promotion, promotion, promotion. One of the most important things for a non league side to excell in. How else would football fans in the locality know about upcoming fixtures without it?
Ryman Premier side Lewes have enlisted the help of design company, Proworx and David Sheppard in particular to help them reach out to more people whose Saturday afternoon's might usually be spent wandering around the town centre.
Sheppard has helped the club by designing over 150 posters to publicise fixtures, his recent project featured a 'Roy of the Rovers style' character with a sweet left foot. But David's talents don't stop there, he has also created the club's official website, has a hand in the matchday programme and helped redesign their badge.
"Being a huge football fan I always wanted to design a club badge. The old Lewes one with the comic Rook was a little twee so it was a labour of love to come up with the new design and donate it to the club with the compliments of myself and my Proworx partner, Richard Brooks. I'm glad it has been so well received." Sheppard said, in an interview with the Sussex Express.
