GLOUCESTER CITY: GROUNDSHARE DISCUSSIONS

Gloucester City chairman Nigel Hughes says talks will take place between the Tigers and their neighbours Cheltenham Town about the prospect of a groundshare.

The Blue Square North side are currently looking for a base while their new stadium is being put together and Hughes sees a link with Cheltenham as the best option.

"We are aware that we need to get the ball rolling and I can foresee us sitting down with Cheltenham before the end of October. Quite clearly we want to make sure that we have somewhere to play next season and will be hopeful of reaching an agreement to suit all parties."
