CRYSTAL PALACE: EAGLES SNAP UP PEDROZA

Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of Jaguares striker Antonio Pedroza.

The 20 year old has agreed a three year deal with the Eagles and manager Dougie Freedman could not hide his delight at the transfer.

"I am pleased to have brought another exciting young player to this club. For a very small fee we have got a great prospect, who with hard work could become an important part of our squad for years to come."

Pedroza, who was born in Cheshire but has played for Mexican side Jaguares for 4 years, spoke to the club's official website.

"I feel very happy to be here. It is really nice to have a chance to probe myself in English football."
