BRADFORD CITY: JANSSON BACK WITH SPURS

Bradford City have given Oscar Jansson the green light to return to his parent club Tottenham Hotspur after the signing of Matt Duke last month.

The arrival of former Hull City goalkeeper Duke, who was bought to the club by new manager Phil Parkinson, has pushed Jansson further down the pecking order, prompting the Yorkshire club to cancel his loan deal ahead of it's expiration.

Speaking about the move to the club's official website Parkinson said, "I'd firstly like to thank Oscar for all his efforts during his time here. In the short period I've been at the club, he has been no problem at all and always trained in a professional manner."

Jansson joined up with City at the beginning of August on a four week loan deal. He featured in two games for the Bantams including their Johnstone's Paint Trophy match against near neighbours Sheffield Wednesday. Bradford won the resulting penalty shoot out, thanks in no small part to Jansson's efforts in goal.
