Manager Paul Martin however wasn't dwelling on the decision, "We thought we had Michael in the bag until Friday afternoon when I got a phone call to say he could no longer come. Hamilton were very apologetic but I could understand why they could no longer let Michael come here. I will need to look elsewhere as we have a number of injuries at centre back."
Rovers are struggling with injuries to three key defenders; Michael O'Byrne, Todd Lumsden and Barry Russell.
