AFC BOURNEMOUTH: TRIO OF INJURIES AT WEEKEND

Bournemouth physio Steve Hard has revealed that the injury sustained by Nathan Byrne in the 2-0 victory over Exeter at the weekend may cause the player to miss a lengthy period of action.

The Tottenham loanee damaged his ankle in the match and Hard says it doesn't look good for the young defender, "He is currently in a boot and on crutches and he will have an xray and a scan later this week. At the moment he is definitely out for Saturday but I suspect ligament damage and that will keep him out for longer."

Byrne wasn't the only player injured at the weekend, Adam Barrett and Harry Arter were both also substituted during the match but Hard expects a better result for the duo following a few days of monitoring.
