AFC BOURNEMOUTH: CUMMINGS REASSURES FANS

After a series of outgoings from Bournemouth during the transfer window, midfielder Warren Cummings has urged fans not to worry.

The high profile departures of Jason Pearce, Danny Ings and Danny Hollands have prompted Cummings, in an interview with a local newspaper, to reassure fans that there is no crisis at the South Coast club.

"People were always going to leave this club, regardless of who was in charge. I understand the supporters wanted us to keep the squad together because we did so well last season. But, in this day and age, you simply can't stop a player leaving."

Despite looking to limit fans' concerns Cummings added, "It's disappointing but there is nothing that can be done."

Bournemouth currently sit fourth bottom of League One after a poor start to the new campaign.
