The French Under 21 player stated his future desires in an interview with the club's official website, "We want to play in the Premier League. That's personally my target as well, and I think we all have a great future which I want to be part of ... [and] I still have time to get into the French squad by playing in the top flight."
Schneiderlin has played in all 5 of Southampton's fixtures this season, coming of the bench four times in the league and starting their Carling Cup win against Torquay.
