There will be an 8pm kick-off time at Tallaght Stadium for the clash with the Students.
Ken Oman remains out of the Hoops squad with a knee injury, while Stephen O’Donnell is out with a hamstring problem. Chris Turner is suspended for the game. There is also a doubt over Ronan Finn (groin). But Karl Sheppard returns to the fold after his recent injury lay-off.
Hoops boss, Michael O’Neill said: “We want to continue getting wins and gathering points in the league. Europe comes back around for us again, but we want to have ourselves in the position that if we win our game in hand, we’re three clear at the top. So we need to win on Friday to do that.
“We never expect an easy game from UCD. While we won well in the last game in Belfield, they did have a man sent off. They’ll come to Tallaght with nothing to lose, and we need to be aware of that going into the game.”
