NUNEATON TOWN: KEY MEN MISSING

According to Nuneaton Town manager Kevin Wilkin, his side will improve greatly when he has more players at his disposal.

'Boro have been troubled with injuries to key players in the last few weeks and have managed just one point out of their first two league fixtures this season. However, boss Wilkin is not looking to use the injury problems as an excuse for their poor showing so far in the league.

"I've not once made an excuse of four key players being out of the side. Maybe I made a mistake playing Justin on Saturday. Maybe I have to hold my hands up. That's another player. That's five key fully fit players we could have in our armoury. They will provide the depth every team needs," he said.

Defenders, Graham Ward and Simon Forsdick along with strikers, Danny Glover and Justin Marsden are missing due to injury while 'keeper Danny Alcock is representing Great Britain in the World Universities games in China.
