LEICESTER CITY: FOXES TO APPEAL SCHMEICHEL RED

Sven Goran Eriksson has confirmed that Leicester City will be appealing the red card issued to goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel in their draw with Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

"I am quite sure he will be suspended for one game. We can send in a report, but, if they listen, well I can't count on that." Eriksson said.

Schmeichel was dismissed after being shown two yellow cards, something the Foxes boss claims the 24 year old was unaware of, "Maybe the referee should make sure Kasper knows he has been booked because he said he wasn't aware of it, but it's not a very good excuse."
