In another attempt to splash yet more cash, Sven Goran Eriksson has made it clear he is interested in bringing Owen Hargreaves to the club. The midfielder who left Manchester United last season is currently on the look out for a new club and Eriksson has revealed he has spoken with him, "I finally spoke to him one week ago and he knows if he wants to come he is more than welcome."
Hargreaves has struggled massively with injury problems in the past few years but the Foxes' boss has declared his confidence in the players ability, "Owen is a fantastic player if he is fit. If he wants to come he will phone me for sure."
Sven Goran Eriksson worked with Owen Hargreaves whilst he was England manager.
