Jimmy Bullard has finally put pen to paper on a permanent deal with Ipswich Town.
The midfielder, a free agent after his Hull City contract was terminated last week, has signed a two year contract with the Portman Road club.
Paul Jewell had been chasing the 32 year old for some time following his impressive stint on loan with Ipswich at the end of last season, "We have been chipping away at Jimmy and Hull all summer to try and sort something out but Hull were adamant that he wouldn't be going out on loan again unless someone paid his wages."
Ipswich Town fans will be hoping the addition of Bullard will give their side a lift after a dreadful start to the new Championship season.
