GATESHEAD: ODUBADE HAS BAGS OF POTENTIAL

Gateshead striker, Yemi Odubade has plenty of suitors, he was the subject of a bid from Blue Square Premier outfit, Luton Town recently and has made a name for himself as a competent forward in the lower leagues.

A former Eastbourne, Yeovil, Oxford, Stevenage and Newport player, Odubade's two performances in the league this season, including a wonderful strike in the game against Mansfield Town, have pleased his manager, Ian Bogie, "If Yemi's goal had been scored in the Premier League you would be seeing it every single night of the week."

"That's what we brought him into the club for, he's a proven goalscorer in the conference. Mansfield were terrified every time he had the ball," Bogie added.
