FC HALIFAX TOWN: LEAGUE CLUBS CHASE VARDY

Jamie Vardy has found himself in demand with Luton Town and Doncaster Rovers among the clubs chasing him for his signature.

The FC Halifax striker scored 24 goals in 33 appearances for the club last term and has seen a bid from Stockport County for his services rejected.

Halifax are under no obligation to sell Sheffield born Vardy, who recently signed an extended three year contract with the Yorkshire club.
