COLCHESTER UNITED: VINCENT OUT FOR SIX WEEKS

Colchester striker Ashley Vincent will be out of action for six weeks as he recovers from a knee injury sustained in his teams draw with Wycombe Wanderers.

The news is a relief to the U's who had initially thought cruciate damage was to blame for the forward's premature departure from Saturday's game.

"It's disappointing for Ashley and the manager that he will be missing for that long but a relief that it wasn't more serious. Ashley has suffered a cruciate tear before and knows the recovery process is a long and hard one so he's relatively pleased with the news." Colchester physio Tony Flynn said.
