A 27 year old winger, Mendy has been training with the Spireites during pre season and boss John Sheridan hopes he will be signed in time to be included in the lineup for the game at MK Dons on Saturday, "Mendy is a big lad who will give us balance. He's done well at Leeds and has been playing in the Czech Premier League for the last five years."
"If everything goes through, Mendy will be involved on Saturday."
