Gordon Marshall who previously held the position has move on to Motherwell and Alloa boss Paul Hartley has moved quickly to replace him.
37 year old Combe's most recent club was SPL side Kilmarnock where he made 149 appearances. He retired from playing professional football this year due to injury.
