SOUTHEND UNITED FC: SMITH TO MAKE MADRID TRIP

Southend have revealed that they will take three trialists with them on their tour of Madrid next week; former Swindon Town goalkeeper Phil Smith, former Rotherham United midfielder Stephen Brogan and John Spicer, formerly with Burnley.
