SHREWSBURY TOWN FC: SHREWS RECOGNISED FOR BUSINESS POTENTIAL

Shrewsbury Town have been recognised for their growing potential in The Telegraph's '1000 top growing medium sized companies in the UK list.

Commercial Manager at the club, Anton Gunter was thrilled at the recognition, "This is truly an indication of what we are trying to do in some very difficult economic times. Football is no longer a 23 home game per season business and football clubs will need to be able to offer more in the future to survive."

The club was grouped with Premier League sides Arsenal and Everton in the Tourism and Leisure category of the newspaper's list.
