SHEFFIELD UNITED: DUO DENY RAPE CHARGES

Sheffield United striker Ched Evans and Port Vale defender Clayton McDonald have both appeared in court today charged with raping a woman at a hotel in Wales.

The pair both denied the charges and were given bail to return for trial in March.
