CHAMPIONSHIP

WEST HAM: Manchester City have turned down a bid from West Ham to take Carlos Tevez back to Upton Park on loan.

BLACKPOOL: Elliot Grandin will undergo surgery on an injured toe ruling him out of action for a month.

IPSWICH: Manchester City youngster Reece Wabara has signed on loan until January.

WEST HAM: Papa Bouba Diop could feature for the Hammers against Crystal Palace today, the midfielder is fit again after recovering from injury.

LEAGUE ONE

CARLISLE: Greg Abbott has decided against offering trialist Alex Fisher a contract at Carlisle.

BOURNEMOUTH: Harry Arter has agreed a new three year contract with the Cherries.

MK DONS: The injury to striker Charlie MacDonald is not as bad as first feared. He will however miss a month of football.

HARTLEPOOL: Former Newcastle forward Lomana LuaLua is training with Hartlepool after returning from a spell playing in Cyprus.

SCUNTHORPE: The club have revealed goalkeeper Josh Lillis is using an oxygen chamber in his fight to recover from knee ligament damage.

CREWE ALEXANDRA: Dario Gradi has ruled out a loan swoop for Swindon Town forward Jordan Pavett.

BARNET: QPR defender Gary Borrowdale has moved to Barnet on loan for a month.

HEREFORD: Hayes & Yeading striker Nathan Elder has moved on loan to Hereford for a month.

GILLINGHAM: Bristol Rovers striker Jo Kuffour has moved to the Priestfield on a three month loan.

SHREWSBURY: Tom Bradshaw has extended his contract. He will now stay with the club until 2013.

BURTON ALBION: Kevin Amankwaah has signed on a free transfer and Jason Banton has joined on a month's loan from Leicester City.

BRADFORD CITY: Midfielder Lee Bullock has pencilled in a xmas return to first team action following surgery on a hip problem.

BATH CITY: Hereford have allowed striker Sean Canham to move on loan to Bath.

FOREST GREEN ROVERS: The injury to striker Reece Styche is not as serious as first though, he will miss a month of action.

KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS: Dave Hankin will miss this weekend's clash with Kettering Town after sustaining an ankle injury in training.

MANSFIELD TOWN: Alan Marriott will not be retiring at the end of the season as he had initially planned.

BOSTON: Mikel Suarez has been released from his Pilgrims contract.

WELLING: Quentin Conteh and Oliver Poole have both moved on loan to Ryman Division One South side Burgess Hill Town.

DOVER ATHLETIC: Steven Watt will have a scan this week to determine the extent of a knee injury.

REDDITCH: Blue Square Premier side AFC Telford have linked up with Redditch in a deal that will see players move freely on loan between the clubs.

CHESTER: Neil Young has won the Evo Stik League manager of the month award.

CAMBRIDGE CITY: Tony Burke has moved to Ryman League side Wingate & Finchley for a small fee.
