The 26 year old only moved to the Stags in May this year but he has struggled to hold down a first team place, preferring to go out on loan than sit on the substitute's bench.
Speaking soon after his move to Field Mill earlier this year he said, "I'm just grateful for the opportunity that I've been given and I want to show the fans that I want to give it 110%. I'm at that age now where I just want to be playing regularly, my first goal is going to be massive and then hopefully the floodgates will open."
Stevenson was at his finest form whilst playing for Blue Square North side Eastwood Town. He scored 96 goals in his three years with the club.
