LEICESTER CITY: JELAVIC NOT INTERESTED IN FOXES SWITCH

Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic says that despite having an ambition to feature for an English club in the future, the offer made to his club in the summer by Leciester City never interested him.

The 26 year old Croatian international was the subject of a £6.5 million bid from Sven Goran Eriksson's side ahead of the current season but the offer was rejected by Rangers.

"In all honesty, I am very happy here. While there was a good offer from Leicester, that is not a club I want to move on to if I am to leave. For me, the best league in Europe is in England and I would like to play there one day."

Jelavic has been with Rangers for a year, scoring twenty goals in thirty appearances.
