GILLINGHAM FC: SPILLER ON THE SIDELINES

Gillingham have revealed that midfielder Danny Spiller will be out of action for three months after sustaining damage to his ankle in their game with Southend.

The 29 year old adds to the already long injury list at the Priestfield that includes, Adam Birchall, Joe Martin, Jack Payne, Danny Jackman, Matt Fish, Andy Frampton, Barry Fuller and Garry Richards.

Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler was gutted for Spiller, "Danny's had a bit of bad news and it looks like he is going to need surgery, which could put him out for the next three months. That is a real blow for him, Spills is devastated, I have to say."
