FROME TOWN: ROBINS CHASING TROPHY CASH

Frome Town manager Darren Perrin says the club need to raise around £20,000 to upgrade their stadium, and has pinpointed an FA Trophy Cup run as an ideal fundraising tool.

The club need to provide an extra 250 seats at their Aldersmith Stadium, without them they face the prospect of automatic relegation from the division.

Perrin has pinpointed the FA Trophy qualifying round with Thatcham this week as a springboard to raising those funds, "If we could win against Thatcham that would help the club. I know the board are moving on with the planning permission for the stand but we've also got to raise the money or face automatic relegation."
