Coventry City have been hit by the news that Joe Murphy, Roy O'Donovan and Gary McSheffrey are all doubts for the weekend's game with Nottingham Forest.
They join other first team regulars Martin Crainie and Sammy Clingan in the treatment room in a battle for fitness for Saturday's clash.
"It's touch and go with all of them, which isn't too helpful," Manager Andy Thorn said. "They'll all be having late fitness tests on Thursday and Ffriday and some on Saturday. But they could go either way so it's a case of all hands to the pump."
Chairman Ken Dulieu spoke to local media this week about the need for loan reinforcements to help guide the club away from the drop zone, following this news of the triple injury concerns that need may now have more urgency.
