The youngster, formerly of Rennes, has linked up with the Cumbrian club in time to feature in their clash with Yeovil Town tomorrow. Manager Greg Abbott spoke after the move was confirmed, "We are starting to build a good relationship with Manchester City."
"He has a good reputation, is very versatile, strong, a good footballer. He will add to the options we have."
Helan, 19 years old, is primarily a left back but is also comfortable on the left side of midfield.
