BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION: AWARDS FOR DUO

Brighton's manager Gus Poyet and chairman Tony Bloom have been recognised by local newspaper, The Argus in their Achievement Awards ceremony.

Poyet was presented with the Outstanding Contribution to Sussex Sport award following the Seagulls promotion to the Championship last season, and Bloom walked away with the Outstanding Contribution to Sussex award after overseeing improvement off the pitch in the form of the new Amex stadium.

In an interview with Brighton's official website, Poyet said, "I'm very proud to win this award because it recognises all of the hard work that myself, my staff and the team have put in over the last 12 months."

"We will continue to commit ourselves and hopefully that will result in more success for the club and for Sussex." He concluded.
