Bradford Park Avenue manager John Deacey has revealed he is keeping an eye on free agent and former Avenue striker Amjad Iqbal.
The 31 year old has been without a club since suffering a horrific injury whilst on Farsley AFC's books and Deacey has invited the Pakistan international to train with the Evo Stik Northern Premier side.
"We put him into a full scale game the midweek before last and Amjad played and did well. He looked comfortable during the game and after it."
"Ammers didn't just get through it, he breezed through it and looked very good. It was lovely to see because he is one of the nicest people you could meet and one of the best players I have worked with."
Iqbal also works as a part time chemistry lecturer at Bradford College.
