ACCRINGTON STANLEY 0 TRANMERE ROVERS 1 [JPT 2nd Round]

A single goal from Ash Taylor was enough for Tranmere to advance to the next round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy this evening.

The young midfielder hit the back of the net in the 38th minute and Accrington Stanley were unable to offer any reply.

The League One side will now travel to Chesterfield for the area quarter finals of the competition.
