The 19 year old has inked a deal keeping him at the Scottish Premier League side until 2014 and despite impressing in a series of games this season and last, he knows he still has a lot to work on.
"I know I have still got a lot to learn and I feel this is the right club for me to keep learning. I am looking forward to continuing my development under the guidance of Craig Brown and Archie Knox."
Jack has graduated through the youth ranks at Pittodrie and has expressed his pride at forcing his way into the senior squad.
"I have come right through from the youngest age group in the youth academy to the first team. I am enjoying playing regularly and I get on great with the lads."
