STAFFORD RANGERS: BORO REBUFF RUMOURS

Stafford Rangers have used their official website to reject claims from some sections of the media that they are about to start reducing their playing staff.

In a statement the club said, "It has come to the boards knowledge that ... a rumour is circulating that cuts in the playing budget are imminent. The board would like to state that there is not a shred of truth in this rumour and that there are no reasons why the current playing budget should be altered and the club have no intentions to do so."
