The 18 year old featured in four games for the Blues, scoring once and manager Keith Knox was keen to extend his stay but St Johnstone have rejected the move.
"Mark has done really well for us and hopefully we have done well for him in terms of his development. We wanted to keep him however St Johnstone want to use him in their first team squad now so we wish him well with that." Knox said.
