Despite threatening to pull the plug on the deal yesterday, Kevin Heaney says he is still ready and hoping to agree a deal to take over crisis club Plymouth Argyle.
Heaney, the current chairman at Truro City, is still awaiting approval from the Football League for his offer to buy the League Two club, something that yesterday appeared to be getting to him.
"If the administrators will not get the deal over the line on Thursday I will walk away." Heaney said in an interview with BBC South West yesterday.
However today Heaney appears to have made a U turn. Speaking with a local media team earlier today he said, "My consortium still want to do a deal. It's more of a technical matter, how things are done in relation to funding for the club moving forward and there needs more understand of that."
The saga threatens to roll on for a while yet.
