PETERBOROUGH FC: FERGUSON RULES OUT LEWIS LOAN

There is no truth in the reports that Peterborough are looking to offload goalkeeper Joe Lewis on loan, that's according to boss Darren Ferguson.

Speaking to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire Ferguson stated the talk of Lewis leaving on a loan deal were wide off the mark.

"He's part of the squad and it would be a waste of time. Joe's not going to go out on loan unless some sort of Premier League club comes in for him."

The 23 year old is currently on the transfer list at London Road and is struggling to dislodge current number one Paul Jones.
