OXFORD UNITED: HAWORTH HAPPY AT U'S MOVE

Andy Haworth has spoken of his joy at moving on loan to League Two side Oxford United.

The 22 year old has had to settle for appearances off the bench for the Shakers this season, so a move to the Us will give him an opportunity of consistent first team action.

"I hope to be involved tomorrow and play my part. The club has fantastic facilities and a good reputation and I hope to be setting up some goals and getting on the score sheet."

Haworth has struggled for a regular starting position at the Shakers since signing for the club on a free transfer from Blackburn Rovers last summer. In his debut season he started just twenty matches, coming off the bench in a further twenty.
