Clint Hill has moved down a division to link up with Steve McClaren's Nottingham Forest on a three month loan deal.
McClaren has moved quickly to find cover for the injured Chris Cohen, and sees QPR's Hill as an ideal replacement.
"We are delighted to have agreed terms with QPR for Clint. He has great experience and will add to our defensive options." McClaren told the club's official website.
Hill signed for QPR last summer from Crystal Palace and was an ever present as they won promotion to the Premier League. He has started just one game in the top flight this season.
