MOTHERWELL FC: UNCHANGED SQUAD FOR CUP GAME

Stuart McCall has named an unchanged side for Motherwell's tie with Hibernian in the Scottish Communities Cup tonight.

Despite suffering a 3-0 defeat at the hands of St Johnstone on Saturday, McCall doesn't feel any changes are needed ahead of this evening's game.

"I'm pleased that we've got a game so soon and it will be the same lads playing who started on Saturday. There's no need for a knee jerk reaction, as disappointed as we were. We just have to hope for a positive reaction. It's not often I give my team out before the game but the lads have done really well this season and Saturday was, hopefully, just a bad day at the office."

Motherwell have been a surprise package in the SPL this season, they currently sit in third position in the league but were top of the pile for a number of weeks early on. The defeat to St Johnstone on Saturday was their second consecutive loss of the season.
