Maidenhead United have added a new goalkeeper to their ranks.
Sam Beasant, a recent Glenn Hoddle Academy graduate and the son of former Chelsea 'keeper Dave will link up with the Magpies in time for tonight's game against Truro.
23 year old Beasant was handed a scholarship to the Glenn Hoddle Academy in 2009 after being released by Cypriot side Olympiakos Nicosia. At the time of his signing, the club's namesake said, "Sam impressed me as a goalkeeper with his all round ability during the selection process and I am delighted that he has signed a full time contract with the academy."
"He not only demonstrated his vision and shot stopping prowess, but also his willingness to learn, something critical to his future success as we work with him to develop his skills and prepare him for a footballing future."
