Fleetwood Town duo Junior Brown and Sean Clancy made a successful return to the first team at the weekend.
Left back Brown played the full game, which resulted in a 3-1 victory for the Trawlermen over Ebbsfleet. Sean Clancy featured half way through the second half.
Speaking after his first appearance for the side since just before the summer break, Brown said, "I was a bit tired after the game with it being the first one back. I'd done a lot of work prior to the game, but nothing really prepares you for what you're facing for a full 90 minutes. I'm really pleased to get it under my belt, and hopefully I can move on from here and get some goals.
Clancy was more apprehensive about his return to action, "I think I've got a lot of work to do before I can have full games, and building up some certain areas and muscles which are going to aid my recovery. It's good to get some minutes and hopefully these minutes can help me progress."
The duo will continue their comback this evening as Fleetwood host Kidderminster at Highbury.
