The 25 year old, who enjoyed a very successful loan spell with Chesterfield last season as they clinched the title, has inked a four week deal with Steve Evans men.
Talking to the club's official website about the move Griffiths said, "The manager was impressive when I spoke to him, he was so enthusiastic and passionate about his football that I wanted to play for him."
