BURNLEY FC: CLARETS INJURY UPDATE

Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen will have scans this week to determine the extent of the injury he sustained in the clash with Peterborough on Saturday.

The Dane was substituted in the first half of the match at London Road with a groin strain and manager Eddie Howe has confirmed that scans will take place today, "The Beast is struggling with his groin. He is having a scan so we will see how he is."

Another injury concern for the Clarets is on loan defender Ben Mee, "Ben has had a headache for the past couple of days so we will see how he is." Howe said.

Burnley face MK Dons tomorrow evening in the Carling Cup and it is unlikely that the duo will feature from the start.
