Blackpool striker Gary Taylor Fletcher has agreed terms on a new one year contract at Bloomfield Road.
In an interview with the club's official website he said he was relieved to have finally put pen to paper, "It has taken a long time but in the end it has worked out best for both parties, I have got a new improved deal and the club have got me until the end of next season."
Taylor Fletcher's previous deal was due to expire at the end of the current season and the former Lincoln City and Leyton Orient man says getting the extension out of the way will allow him to focus on what is most important, his performances.
"It is a good thing that we have reached an agreement and we can now concentrate on getting back up and hopefully via one of those automatic promotion places."
Since signing for the club from Huddersfield Town in 2007 he has scored twenty seven times.
