BLACKPOOL FC: HOLLOWAY BANNED

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has been handed a one match ban and a fine of £2,000 after being sent to the stands in his side's clash with Coventry during the week.

Holloway was charged with using insulting and/or abusive language and will now have to sit in the stands for the Seasiders' match against Bristol City at the weekend. He has also revealed he faces the wrath of his wife after the incident.

"I am absolutely sick and devastated because I've been sent to the stand, I promised my wife I never would again."
