The 21 year old spent three months on loan with City at the end of the previous season and impressed boss Adie Britton enough to call on his services a second time.
Speaking after confirming the loan signing Britton said, "He did very well for us in his loan spell last year, and we're pleased to have him back. He's a good player on the field, and he's a very good lad off the field to have in the dressing room."
