ALTRINCHAM FC: CONNORS NOT A FREE MAN FOR LONG

Altrincham have swooped to sign midfielder Steve Connors, who was released from his Cambridge United contract just one month after moving to the club.

The 25 year old suffered a groin injury in pre-season, something he wasn't able to overcome, prompting the U's to terminate his contract.

Connors had a previous spell with Altrincham, on loan at the end of last season.
